Esch2022 – European Capital of Culture

In 2022, together with 10 Pro-Sud municipalities, and 8 municipalities in France, in the Communautée de Communes Pays Haut Val l’Alzette (CCPHVA), Esch-Alzette, Luxembourg’s second largest city, will be European Capital of Culture.

This is going to be an exceptional year for the future of our region and for all of us. We will embrace the cultural power of Esch2022 and present it to visitors from all over the world. It is our chance to create something unique that will have a lasting impact for a sustainable, socially responsible and economically successful future of Esch2022.
